Ordering for Delivery
You may place your order for delivery by contacting Mulch Monkeys at (434) 589-1256. Our retail hours for placing orders or to pick-up an order are listed on our Hours page.
All of our products are sold by the cubic yard. The minimum order for delivery for any of the mulches is 3 cubic yards. We have the capabilities to bring up to 25 cubic yards of mulch on our delivery trucks. You may order any quantity of mulch between the ranges of 3 cubic yards to 25 cubic yards per truck load.
The topsoil may be ordered in volumes ranging from 2 cubic yards to 10 cubic yards per truck load while compost may be ordered in ranges from 3 cubic yards to 15 cubic yards per truck load.
When placing your order, you may request a delivery date. However, we do not promise or provide a specific time of day for delivery.
Mulch Monkeys’ trucks are large and can not drive on soft or uneven terrain. Therefore, we do to not traverse off your driveway or street. Our drivers will determine an alternate drop sight in the event that your requested spot is not safe or feasible for our trucks.
To determine how many cubic yards of material you need for your project, simply measure the square footage (length x width = square feet) of the area you are working on. Next, determine how many inches (depth) of mulch or soil you need in those areas. Multiply the total square feet by the depth and then divide by 324. This will give you the cubic yards required to complete your project.
EXAMPLE: Your garden measures 80 feet long by 40 feet wide and you want 2” of mulch to cover this area. How many cubic yards of mulch do you need?
You may round up or down and order either 19 cubic yards or 20 cubic yards.
When you order over the phone, we accept Discover, VISA or MasterCard. You can pay with cash upon receipt of your invoice. If you are not able to be at home at the time of delivery, the invoice will be left in your mail box or front door.
