Colored Mulches
Double Shredded Colored Mulch – All our Black and Brown Colored Mulches are made from organic hardwood bark. The Red Mulch is made up of white wood for deeper color absorption. The texture is a beautiful, consistent medium-fine shred, with no large chunks or shards. They do not contain any fillers or inert matter. (sticks, dirt, stump mat or lot clearing material)
Unlike colored mulches derived from recycled building materials and site clearing debris, Mulch Monkeys Colored Organic Hardwood Bark Mulches do not contain any toxic chemical wood preservatives.
The colorants are water based and are ISO9001 certified to assure you a safe, high quality long lasting product. Colorants are made from earth-friendly materials safe for plants, children, and animals. These water based colorants/dyes require 24-48 hr. drying time after installation to reduce run-off or discoloration. Do not store or dump dyed mulches on concrete surfaces as they may cause permanent staining.
