Premium Screened Soil Mix – We pump up the organic matter in our Screened Topsoil by blending Fibregro Compost at 1 parts topsoil and 1 part compost. The result is an outstanding soil mix providing optimal growing conditions to ensure vigorous root growth to plants, trees, grass and vegetables. PH ranges from 6.7 – 6.8 making it ideal for most gardening projects.

Screened Topsoil – Mulch Monkeys Screened Topsoil is a beautiful brown colored native topsoil which possesses an excellent sandy loam tilth. Good for filling low spots, back-filling, topdressing lawns. We keep our topsoil tarped on rainy days.

Fibregro Organic Compost – Our compost is created by the composting of wood fibers by the largest composting facility in the state of Virginia and is registered with the VA Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The end product is an excellent source of organic matter with high humus content, no weed seeds and has a PH range of 6.9 – 7.1. Contains no bio-solids, animal or poultry manures.

Excellent to amend clay soils, topdress lawns and vegetable gardens; Fibregro promotes earthworm and beneficial microbial activity and has excellent moisture retention features. Compost will not fulfill all plant nutrient requirements and should be used in combination with organic fertilizers for optimum results.

Do not use on acid loving plants as a 100% planting medium without adjusting the PH.
